Meet the Team
Matt Skerman - Constuction Manager
Matt enjoyed a typical rural kiwi upbringing and went on to become a qualified and licensed builder.
Seeing a gap in the market, Matt took the opportunity to combine his building experience and passion for the rural lifestyle by setting up AgBuild with his mate, Geoff.
A bit of a perfectionist, Matt is heavily involved in the design process. You’ll find him out and about, leading the crew and ensuring every build is completed to the same high standard.

Geoff Everton - Business Manager
Geoff has been building ever since leaving school. His career took him to the UK and USA for several years before he returned to New Zealand.
In 2011 he and good friend, Matt, decided to take the leap and start their own business with AgBuild and they’ve never looked back.
Meticulously organised, Geoff takes care of planning projects and liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
“It’s so rewarding to see a project through from the initial idea to design and completion. I’ve really enjoyed meeting some pretty awesome people along the way too.”
Kimmy - Customer Care
Kimmy is our customer care, admin and office management superstar – and that’s why we rely on her to keep everything running like clockwork.
“I enjoy supporting Geoff and Matt to make sure everything runs smoothly and that our clients are happy with the entire process, as well as the end result.”
As a busy mum of two, you’ll often find Kimmy out with the kids at sports and activities around town.
Carl - Foreman
Carl grew up on a rural property, went dairy farming for 9 years, then moved on to become Maintenance and Services Manager at the Mighty River Domain. He brings excellent project management skills to his site work with the AgBuild crew.

Carl spends his spare time diving and spending time with family.
Micheal - Labourer and Roof Technician
Micheal has lived in Cambridge all his life on his parents horse rehabilitation farm and has a real love of the rural lifestyle. A roll-up-your-sleeves kind of guy, Micheal can be relied on to produce high quality work every time.
"I love my job and working on buildings in a rural setting suits me down to the ground."
Micheal spends his weekends working on motors, deer stalking and fishing.
