Choosing to specialise in farm, equine and lifestyle buildings was a no-brainer for us. The rural kiwi lifestyle is how we grew up and we understand that agriculture is a demanding business.
Working in our beautiful countryside, helping farmers, trainers and lifestylers to better manage their businesses and properties is what we love to do.We’re a close-knit team who run AgBuild like a family business. The crew is hardworking, enthusiastic and completely focussed on quality workmanship.
We’re committed to making the build process as quick and easy as possible for our clients, with minimum disruption, by providing you with a fully personalised, wrap-around service.

- Geoff
Geoff has been building ever since leaving school. His career took him to the UK and USA for several years before he returned to New Zealand.
In 2011 he and good friend, Matt, decided to take the leap and start their own business with AgBuild and they’ve never looked back.
Meticulously organised, Geoff takes care of planning projects and liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.

Carl - Construction Manager
Carl grew up on a rural property, went dairy farming for 9 years, then moved on to become Maintenance and Services Manager at the Mighty River Domain.
He brings excellent project management skills to his site work with the AgBuild crew.
Carl spends his spare time diving and spending time with family.
Justin 'Waka' Somerville - Foreman
Waka is a skilled, fully qualified builder who has brought his depth of knowledge to our team.
He enjoys the AgBuild scene as he likes to work outside, likes working with mates and watching the progress of the build. Outside of work, Waka watches a bit of code, is learning to coach rugby and loves hanging out with family and friends.
Kimmy - Customer Care
Kimmy is our customer care, admin and office management superstar – and that’s why we rely on her to keep everything running like clockwork.
As a busy mum of two, you’ll often find Kimmy out with the kids at sports and activities around town.
